Richard is friendly but lacks the pep talk that you need in the moments when you’re fatigued and want to quit.
Mood:
This is a good workout for a day when you want to something semi-chill that’s not too sweaty.
Summary:
This workout is from Richard Simmons’ early days. Don’t be deceived by his simplistic moves - they will still burn! I appreciated his insertion of stretches as moments of relief for fatigued muscles. It may take a moment to catch up to him when he switches moves but he does enough intervals that you can catch up. There’s an intense amount of legs and hip work and he left me wanting more stretching at the end, particularly for my hips.
